We were extremely satisfied with B16’s work on the Visual and Digital Communication of Faro Story Spot, both for the creativity demonstrated and for the professionalism shown throughout every stage of the process. The team consistently displayed a strong willingness to listen, adapt, and refine their approach, delivering graphic and digital solutions fully aligned with the project’s identity and with the objectives we had defined for the space. The final result conveys exactly the experience we aim to offer our visitors, strengthens the visibility and positioning of Faro Story Spot, and confirms B16 as a trusted partner for future communication challenges.

The Challenge:
Creating a body for the memory of Faro.
Sharing history, territory, and culture with local and international audiences.
Faro Story Spot is a space for experience and discovery, designed for all ages and different perspectives.
The challenge was to define strategies and create clear, accessible, and engaging communication content for a multinational audience – predominantly tourists – while also addressing local communities: schools, associations, organised groups, and residents who recognise this multimedia museum as an extension of their own history.
Located in Largo da Sé, with the ancient walls and the Episcopal Palace as its backdrop, Faro Story Spot requires communication that rises to the level of its context: respectful, informed, and sensitive to the deep relationship between Algarve’s people, nature, and time.
The Solution:
A narrative anchored in place and open to the world.
In an age of fast and fragmented information, B16 chose to build a continuous narrative, designed to accompany the Faro Story Spot experience both inside and beyond the physical space. The solution involved developing an integrated communication strategy that respected historical rigour without distancing from it.
We started from the intimate relationship between the territory and those who inhabit it. Ria Formosa seen from the inside and the outside. The Mediterranean Diet is understood, not merely as a meal, but as a cultural expression and a meeting point between nature, civilisation, and community.
The communication was designed to inform, spark curiosity, and create an emotional connection. Not to explain everything, but to open pathways. Not to close narratives, but to invite discovery.

The strategy developed by B16 was based on continuity and adaptability. Creating a language capable of engaging with different audiences, while always maintaining a common thread: respect for History, territory, and people.
Communication actions were conceived across multiple formats, asserting Faro Story Spot consistently across different contexts and platforms. More than promoting a space, the objective was to create connection, recognition, and a sense of belonging – both for those arriving from elsewhere and for those who have always been here.

The content was developed as a natural extension of the immersive experience. Each photograph, design element, video, and illustration was crafted to respect historical time and the rhythm of Faro, transforming information into narrative.
Through multiple formats, Faro Story Spot communicated organically and humanly, strengthening the connection between its physical spaces and its distinctive digital dynamic.

exterior and interior photographs
We built a visual archive capable of documenting the Faro Story Spot experience in its entirety – from the immersive interior environment to its ongoing dialogue with the surrounding territory. The images were captured with a focus on atmosphere and the relationship between visitor, space, and memory, ensuring a solid foundation for long-term communication.
exterior 3D decorative models
We developed six three-dimensional models that extend Faro Story Spot’s identity into the urban space. These elements act as visual and narrative touchpoints, stimulating visitor curiosity while reinforcing continuity between the city and the immersive experience.

We produced audiovisual content centred on real visitor experiences. Testimonials were captured with spontaneity, maintaining a credible and accessible tone for new audiences.
complete graphic design lines
Twelve graphic design lines were structured to respond to different communication needs while maintaining aesthetic and conceptual coherence. This controlled diversity allowed Faro Story Spot’s identity to adapt to both physical and digital platforms.

The team’s continued on-site presence enabled a deep understanding of the space’s operation and visitor experience. This proximity ensured that strategic and creative decisions were consistently informed by the project’s real context.

Dozens of hours were dedicated to the careful capture of visual material, respecting the natural rhythm of the immersive experience. This volume of audiovisual content enabled the production of authentic, technically consistent materials aligned with the communication strategy.
menu design concepts
We created nine menu design proposals, integrating Faro Story Spot’s cultural experience with its gastronomic dimension. Each solution sought to balance informational clarity with a strong connection to the Mediterranean Diet.
market sectors covered in a comparative pricing analysis
We conducted a benchmarking study spanning more than thirty cultural, tourism, and museum-related sectors. This analysis enabled Faro Story Spot to position itself competitively and distinctively, building a profile focused on its diverse target audiences.
visitors contacted with a conversion rate exceeding 50%
Direct activation and engagement actions were carried out with visitors. The high conversion rate confirmed both the effectiveness of this approach and the experience’s ability to generate immediate interest.
bicycles fully customised
We conceptualised and customised two bicycles to serve as mobile extensions of Faro Story Spot’s identity. These structures functioned as urban activation tools, bringing the brand into public space while reinforcing a sustainable and dynamic communication approach.

Two years of continuous collaboration allowed the consolidation of an evolving strategy based on proximity, adaptability, and ongoing monitoring. This long-term relationship strengthened Faro Story Spot’s identity and communication consistency.
