Sharing the love for three territories with those who have never seen them.

O Desafio:

Convey the touch of nature, gastronomy, and local culture to the other side of the screen.

The territory of the Southwest Algarve and the Costa Vicentina, deeply marked by the fires of the 2023 summer, needed to be rediscovered – not as a tourist attraction, but as a balm for emotions and senses. Alentejo Tourism and the Algarve Tourism Region aspired to more than a campaign: a narrative capable of returning soul and authenticity to a beautiful but wounded territory.

B16 created and shaped the concept “Natural is Better”, translating it into images, gestures, and emotions. The mission was not to sell places, but to reveal time, light, silence, and the truth of everyday life that still pulsates between the sea and the hills. Between humanity and territory, between digital and sensory, reason meets emotion.

A solução:

Create a modular, sensorial, and emotional communication positioning, where each content works autonomously and, together, gains strength.

We started from a simple idea: represent days lived in the territories AMO – Aljezur, Monchique and Odemira – from sunrise to sunset. This flexible narrative structure allowed a representation of the diversity and coherence of the territory, with each scene covering a micro-story of discovery and (re)connection. 

The images were designed to move without words. The production integrated illustration, photography, and video in a visual universe that crosses the real with the artistic trace. More than capturing landscapes, the project brought together community and creativity: local reality, natural light, and surprises incorporated with professionalism. B16 thus created a narrative that does not talk about the territory – it speaks to it. A tribute to authenticity ,simplicity, and pauses.

Back to basics.

The campaign starts from the simplest truth of this territory: here, Nature is not scenery — its experience. We did not create symbols — we edified on the existing ones.

Feel more.

We presented autenticity as valuable. Each element, from the layouts to the choice of materials, reinforces what the territory already offers: simplicity, fresh air and the slow passing of time. 

Events, brochures, digital, and merchandise were carefully created to produce honest sensorial experiences, where the real value is not on what you see, but what you feel.

Wherever it is needed

The sketches, the words and lenses focused on transforming everyday gestures into sensations. Each piece is naturally aligned. Instead of adding, we tried to let go of the extra weight, letting the essential stand out.

Real impact

The authenticity that guided our work found expression in the streets, in institutions, and across publications. News features, interviews, and mentions continue to multiply, proving that returning to the essential is a feeling that resonates in many hearts.

We produced over 500 images that capture the territory without artifice – landscapes, people, and moments where the Southwest reveals itself as it truly is: natural and vibrant. These visuals were designed for use across web, outdoor billboards, print publications, and social media platforms.

We balanced sound, rhythm, and movement to weave emotion into every sequence. Each piece was edited for television, social media, and live events, ensuring narrative diversity while preserving authenticity across all formats and versions.

Conceived in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, the production was built with cross-cultural resonance in mind. Language was never a barrier – it became a bridge. Different cultures found common ground in the shared experience of the most essential human sensations.

Aljezur, Monchique, and Odemira – or, more broadly, the Alentejo and the Algarve – share so much: a profound connection to nature, simplicity, flavors, and contrasts. Our goal was to find what unites them and celebrate what sets them apart, through one coherent, vivid, and truthful narrative.

We travelled from end to end, without shortcuts, to feel and frame the places where time slows down. Three intense days of asphalt and dust, mountains and coastline, towns and villages – each curve and horizon added new meaning to our vision.
