The Challenge:
EMOTIONAL INVOLVEMENT

When the opportunity arose to support the Associação Nascer Prematuro, the Creative Clan materialized one of our Bushido values: Empathy. Every testimony shared, every image captured, and yes, every tear shed, was strength for the message we set out to share. Alerting to a problem that only prevention can mitigate was more than a mission; it was a necessity for every Samurai.
This world's heros are just around the corner
Creating these videos was essential for the Associação Nascer Prematuro to communicate its mission to the world. We were asked to collect some testimonies from professionals in the area of prematurity and neonatology. The Creative Clan created a documentary video, event coverage, and a series of shorter interviews to broaden the reach and diversity of testimonies that can save lives who had just begun.
The Solution:
DEFINE THE PURPOSE AND LET IT GUIDE YOU
B16 created the safe space and technical conditions for interviewees (mothers, fathers, doctors and specialists) to share their experience in favor of this cause. With the narrative objective in mind, we let the emotions and testimonies of each participant mark each segment. More than trying to impose a rhythm or idea, we tried to make the truth stand out.

"I really enjoyed doing this work for the Nascer Prematuro Association because I learned about a topic that is not common and that affects a lot of people. It was quite impactful to enter the neonatal unit at Faro Hospital and realise how intense the world of caring for premature babies is. The sounds, the constant care, it was simply overwhelming. It is a very serious reality. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to meet people who work for this cause, parents who have lived through these experiences and everyone who revolves around these babies. We were also invited to the event where they presented the documentary video we produced, and it was very impactful to see the reactions of the entire audience as they watched, listened to and felt that video."
